Key Issues

As a Fairfax County classroom teacher, Julie Perry has seen firsthand how political agendas and bureaucratic mandates have damaged education in Virginia’s 10th District. Students are falling behind, parents are being shut out, and teachers are being pressured to prioritize ideology over academics. In Congress, Julie will fight to restore a focus on reading, math, science, history, and the arts, support parents’ rights, and ensure schools prepare students for real-world success—not political activism.

Education First

Cost of Living & Fiscal Responsibility

Families across Virginia’s 10th District are feeling the squeeze from rising housing costs, higher grocery bills, and increased energy prices—especially commuters and young families trying to put down roots in Northern Virginia. Julie will push for fiscal responsibility, oppose reckless spending, and support policies that bring down inflation so families can afford to live, work, and raise children in the communities they love.

Virginia’s 10th District is home to small businesses, federal contractors, technology innovators, and entrepreneurs who drive our region’s economy. Julie supports policies that encourage investment here at home, protect American workers from unfair labor dumping, and reduce burdensome regulations that stifle growth. Her goal is a strong, competitive economy that creates good-paying jobs and long-term opportunity for Northern Virginia workers and families.

Economic Opportunity

Julie Perry believes safe communities and equal justice under the law are fundamental to a strong society. She supports enforcing the law, protecting constitutional rights, and cracking down on violent crime and fraud that threaten families and small businesses in VA-10. On the national stage, Julie will advocate for a foreign policy rooted in peace through strength, supporting a strong military and national defense that protects America’s interests at home and abroad.

National Security

Healthcare in Virginia’s 10th District is too expensive, too confusing, and too often controlled by government bureaucracy instead of doctors and patients. Julie supports reforms that increase transparency, lower costs, and expand access while protecting quality care. She believes healthcare decisions should be made by families and medical professionals—not Washington—and will fight to simplify the system so it works for Virginians, not against them.
